The Price Foundation Inc. makes INTEREST FREE student loans to deserving students living in the designated geographic area* following formal application and approval by an appointed committee. Repayment of these loans is expected upon completion of the student’s course of study so that the money can be used for future student loan applicants.

*Geographic area for student loans includes Ontario, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair and Fontana.

Who Can Apply

In order to be considered for a loan, a student must be a permanent resident of any of the following cities in San Bernardino County: Ontario, Upland, Montclair, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana. The student must be currently applying, accepted or enrolled in a community college, undergraduate university or a graduate school.

How To Apply

Below lists the process to receive a Price Foundation Student Loan.

  1. Submit the application along with three (3) letters of recommendation and your most recent transcript to the Price Foundation. Please submit your application to PriceFdn@gmail.com.
  2. Your application will be reviewed by the Student Loan Committee.
  3. If approved by the Committee, you will be called for an interview. Please allow a month or so because the committee does not meet on a regular basis.
  4. Notification after the interview will be sent to you within ten days.
  5. At the time any loan is approved and funded, you will be asked to sign a Promissory Note stating the amount of payment and a date your repayment is to begin. This note must also be signed by two guarantors.

Price Foundation student loans are interest free until which time there might be a default in repayment. The funds you receive are a loan and are expected to be repaid to Price Foundation, Inc. within a reasonable period of time after you graduate. This period of time will depend upon the amount of the loan and your earning capacity. The loans you repay are used to assist other students with their education as you were helped with yours.
